New England - Growth and Development
This project was a workshop on the growth and development of premature infants and was facilitated by a Paediatric Physiotherapist from John Hunter Children's Hospital.
The success of this project was measured by:
- Enhanced knowledge, understanding and awareness of the growth and development of premature infants
- Enhanced professional skills and clinical practice in conducting assessments on premature infants returning from John Hunter Hospital or other tertiary Paediatric hospitals
- Improved knowledge and skills regarding the needs of premature infants non-paediatric specialist staff
- Improving the networking and collaborative relationships between staff from New England Area Health Service and Hunter Area Health Service
