Hunter - Telemedicine
This project was established to provide educational opportunities for paediatric health care professionals by regular telemedicine link-ups to John Hunter Children's Hospital Paediatric Grand Rounds, both medical and nursing. It provides opportunities for professional development with peer review support and regular up-dates on best practice.
When the enhancement funding period for this project ended the NCHN decided to provide continuing financial support of this initiative through their administration funds. We now have a CD education library. Weekly grand rounds continue to be recorded and the library continues to expand.
