Central Coast - Benchmarking
This project provided benchmarking opportunities and consistency of care through access to policies, procedures and protocols from John Hunter Children's Hospital. The Central Coast CNC met with the Clinical Practice CNC at John Hunter Children's Hospital to review and discuss:
- benchmarking, eg average length of stay for common DRGs
- clinical protocols and nursing procedural guidelines
- development of joint research and systematic reviews of available literature in contributing to policy and procedural review and development
